2012 Solo Pro Series - Angler of the Year

tournament to Alton, IL; I laid out my plan
and goals for the upcoming season and
for my fishing career.  On that drive, I decided not only to compete in all of the 2012 Solo Pro tournaments, but also to set a personal goal to weight in a limit at all 6 events.  I knew from the level of competition in the 2011 event, that putting a limit in the boat at every tournament would be critical for success in the series.
I spent the off season focused on trying to develop my fishing “career” beyond a weekend hobby.  I submitted marketing proposals to several prospective sponsors, spoke at several fishing events, and began communications with bass associations and local community leaders regarding high school and/or community fishing programs for kids and adults......continue reading

David Roberts, of Richland, MO, walked away $41,200 richer at the 2013 Spring Big Bass Bash. David weighed this giant in at the Red Oak weigh-in station on Sunday in the 6:30am-9:00am time slot. Thanks again to all the anglers that fished and congratulations to David Roberts, the 2013 Spring Big Bass Bash Champion!
