Tournament Results - March 9, 2008
4th place winners Curt Warren and John Pilcher took home a check for $215.00 with 2 fish weighing 4.89 lbs.
5th place went to George Hance and Alan Hance with a 4.78 lb lunker. They also took Big Bass taking home a total of $423.00. They reported catching their big bass around 8:30am in Honey Creek on a Strike King #5 Fire Tiger crankbait.
6th Place winners Brad Farren and Larry Tasker Jr. took home $120.00 with 2 fish weighing 4.75 lbs. There sponsors are Southtown Sporting Goods, Spring River Magazine, Knuckle Down Lures, and Pro Outfitters.
7th place went to Jessie and Jack Burnett with 1 fish which also took 2nd place Big Bass for a total winning of $237.00.
1st place out of the money, Howard Buening and Steve Enox won a pro pack with products from our sponsors Seaguar, Berkley, Smelly Jelly, and Yacht Brite.
Randy Woods and Billy Wright were the 2nd team out of the money, and won a tackle pack courtesy of Black Angel Jigs.
An assortment of Omega Jigs was handed out to Mark Ballinger who weighed in the smallest stringer.

The season opener at Grand Lake brought cold temps at take-off, but warmed to the mid 60’s by weigh-in time. A total of 39 teams came out to fish Anglers in Action.
1st Place went to Jim Zaleski who weighed in 3 fish with a total weight of 7.13 lbs. Jim took home $1375.00. He reported catching fish early in the day on a green pumpkin jig, up the elk on bluffs and late in the day on soft stick baits. Jim’s sponsors are Taco Mayo, Yacht Brite, Norcross Marine, and Smelly Jelly.
