Grand Lake - May 4, 2008 (Martins Landing)
Due to the high water at the City Park ramp, we moved the tournament over to Martins Landing. The weather finally cooperated on Sunday, with a high of 77 degrees and little to no wind all day. A total of 41 boats turned out for the 3rd Grand Division event of the season. The anglers also received a surprise visit from our polygraph examiner at weigh-in, which was administered to the top 3 teams. All anglers that received polygraph tests passed with flying colors.
First place went to Scott Phillips and Jimmy Wilhelm, who weighed in five fish with for a total of 16.84lbs. They also took second place big bass with a 4.45lb chunk. They reported catching theiir limit on black/blue tubes fishing the willows in 1-2 feet of water around mid lake. They had a total of 6 keepers, 3 by noon and 3 after. They took home a total of $1683 which included 1st place sp.

Coming in second place with 5 fish weighing 16.82 lbs was the team of Kenneth Peters and Bryan Wolfgang. They also won first place big bass with their lunker weighing 5.33lbs. They caught their stringer on chartreuse and white spinnerbaits in 2 to 5 ft of water near the dam end. They took home a total of $937.
Dustin Stacey and Matt Kinsley came in third place with 5 fish weighing 16.51 lbs. They caught their limit on black and red brushhogs in around 5 feet of water, fishing the Drowning Creek area. They caught a total of 8 keepers, and took home a total of $458 including 2 place sp. We would like to thank their families for coming out to see the awards ceremony and for helping give out pro packs.
41 Teams - 12 limits were caught, 110 fished weighed in, for total weight of 259.29lbs.
4th place - 5 fish weighing 15.93lbs - Mark Talley and Bobby Wardon -$312 including 3rd place sp.

5th Place - 5 fish weighing 13.85lbs - Dave Radebaugh and Marshall Halverson - $165

6th place - 5 fish weighing 13.08lbs - Steve Winters and Shane Durham - $140.

7th place - 5 fish -12.20lbs - Mike Dickinson and Wayman Smith - $125.
Their sponsors are Rib Crib, Indian Hills, and Charger Boats.

8th place - 5 fish -11.30lbs- Zack and Mike Rumple - $120.
Their sponsors are Chronicle of Grand Lake, Grand Outdoors Kawasaki, and Chambers Sign Company.

1st place out of the money went to Andy and Micah Littlejohn with 10.97lbs. They received an AiA Pro Pack with items from out sponsors.

Another pro pack with items from our sponsors went to Bryan Hoffman and Scott Tassi.

3rd place out of the money received a $63 Boat U.S. Angler membership good for 1 year.

The smallest stringer received an Omega Custom Tackle jig pack, given away at every tournament.
This prize went to Eric Murdock and Todd Bruce.
