The Anglers in Action / Triton Boats event Saturday on Lake of the Ozarks went off with a bang. A total of 94 boats arrived early Saturday morning at PB2, ready to check in and hit the water. The team of Mike Koby and Kyle Hulsey topped the field on this pre-easter event, weighing in their best 5 of the day for a total of 20.73 lbs, just edging out the Omega Custom Tackle team of Mike Malone and Tim Jeffries, who had 20.53 lbs.

Anglers are fishing for their chance to qualify for the 2010 AiA Championship on October 16-17 at Lake of the Ozarks, where over $90,000 in cash & prizes will be won. The top 40% of the total division that meet eligibility requirements will be invited to the championship.
Thanks to all the anglers that fished with us Saturday. We appreciate all of the support we've seen so far this season and look forward to an outstanding remainder of the year.
The final event on Lake of the Ozarks will be held on Sunday, April 25th, taking out of PB2 from 6:30-3:00.

Mike Koby and Kyle Hulsey placed 1st overall Saturday, bringing 5 bass to the scales that weighed 20.73 lbs. Mike and Kyle fished the mid lake area, rounding up a total of 12 keepers throughout the day. They caught fish early targeting suspended bass with a shallow diving rogue, then switched to the blades and jigs in the afternoon, focusing on transition rock banks.
Kyle and Mike took first in sidepot also, bringing their total winnings for the day to $2,820.00

Mike and Tim fished the jerkbait early on in the day, then changed up to the spinnerbait hitting spawning pockets during the afternoon. They also fished the mid lake area and caught their fish in 2-6 feet of water. Mike and Tim took home a total of $1,520.00

3rd place went to the team of Steve and Zachary Plank, They brought 5 bass in that tipped the scales at 18.60 lbs. Steve and Zachary fished around the Hurricane Deck area, concentrating on main lake points with crawdad colored crankbaits.
They earned themselves a check for $900 for their 3rd place finish.

Dave Phelps hauled in the Big Bass of the day. This 7.36 lb. lunker was worth a cool $658.
John Shumway won $282 for this 7.27 lb. largemouth, which was 2nd Big Bass for the day.
