The 3rd Anglers in Action / Triton Boats event on Lake of the Ozarks is now in the books. A total of 57 teams ventured out to PB2 ramp early Saturday morning, ready for what turned out to be a less than desirable day to be on the water. The takeoff started with a steady rain and temps in the mid 30's, and never improved throughout the day.
The team of Shane Long and Matt Jones took top honors Saturday. They hauled in five LakeO bass that pushed the scales down to 20.20 lbs. Congratulations on the win gentlemen!
Anglers are fishing for their chance to qualify for the 2010 AiA Championship on October 16-17 at Lake of the Ozarks, where over $90,000 in cash & prizes will be won. The top 40% of the total division that meet eligibility requirements will be invited to the championship.
Hats off to all you anglers for coming out and battling the weather conditions Saturday. We appreciate
your support and look forward to a great 2010 season.

The team of Shane Long & Matt Jones placed 1st Saturday, weighing in 5 fish that totaled 20.20 lbs. They also had the 2nd Big Bass of the day with a 5.87 lb. largemouth.
They reported fishing the main lake area between Shawnee Bend and the Dam, working stickbaits on main lake and secondary points, with the bite coming in around 12-15 feet of water.
Shane & Matt won a grand total of $2,151.00 for their win. Congratulations Guys.

Kevin Stonitsch & John Bledsoe placed 2nd overall Saturday, bringing a 5 fish limit to the scales that weighed 18.23 lbs. Kevin & John fished the main lake area near Tantara, targeting main lake points with Purple Chartreuse and Chrome/Black Orange Smithwick Rogues. Kevin said they caught their fish shallow, very close to the bank.
They also had the Big Bass of the day, weighing in a stout 6.16 lb. lunker. Kevin & John took home a total of $1,349.00.
