Table Rock lake level was 917.47. Clear and mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s both days. Table Rock had really changed within the last few weeks due to area rains; rising over 5 feet and then pulling on average 6 inches per day. Also had rapidly rising water temperatures because of the unusually warm spring. This made for a tough bite for the anglers, but a few were able to figure it out.
The first place team, Gary Bundy and Johnny Hagood, fished the Kimberling City area with a strong A-Rig bite. They fished outside spawning pockets, catching most of their fish suspended in 15 to 25 foot of water, culling through 12 keepers. Their sponsors are Nitro, Mercury, and Davidson Construction.

The second place team, James Nickols and Joel Klindworth, made a big run up the James River arm to the Cape Fair area. They fished slow, tapering banks that were a mix of chunk rock and gravel in the backs of the creeks. They caught most of their fish on a wiggle wart and jig combination in 8 to 12 foot of water, with the better bite coming in the morning.
The third place team, Tom Statler and Mark Campbell of Championship Marine, stayed in the Kimberling City area, culling through 20 to 25 keepers. All fish were caught on a 1/2 oz to 5/8 oz Green Pumpkin and PB & J jig. The key to their success was to crawl the jig along.
