Watson & Long Win Final Event on Truman:
A total of 78 teams arrived at Long Shoal Sunday morning for the fifth and final tournament of the 2010 season at Truman Lake. Eighteen pounds seemed to be the magic number, with the top 4 teams bringing in 18lb. plus sacks, and 1st to 4th place separated by just under 8 tenths of a pound.
There were 197 bass brought to the AiA scales, including 24 limits, totaling just over 521 lbs.
The Anglers in Action crew wants to thanks everyone for fishing our tournament trail this year. Our numbers have increased substantially from last season, and we owe it all to the great anglers that continue to support AiA. We look forward to the year end championship and to an even better 2011 season.

MoMan Lures pay off big for Marty Watson and Doug Long. Marty & Doug managed 5 good bites throughout the day, and made them count. They brought 5 Truman Lake bass to the scales that weighed 18.98 lbs. They reported fishing the Grand arm, using black/blue MoMan tubes on shallow flats with timber.
Curt Graves took 2nd place Sunday with his 18.93 lb. sack, which came up a mere 5 one-hundredths shy of the winning weight. Curt also fished the Grand arm, using green pumpkin tubes on timber to accumulate his limit.
James & Rick Rush hauled in this 7.03 lb. Truman Lake hawg, good for Big Bass of the day.
